Thank You for Making EaTs Soul Savour Festival a Success!
We want to extend our deepest gratitude to everyone who came together to make the EaTs Soul Savour Festival such a memorable event on August 31st! From our amazing vendors to the incredible talent on display and the support from our wonderful community, this festival was all about coming together to celebrate, savour, and give back.
Over 70 vendors brought vibrant energy and delicious food to the heart of Port Macquarie, while the Letz get lit inflatable disco house had families enjoying the day in high spirits. We were thrilled to see the return of ice skating after so many years and the joy it brought to children and families alike. Mid North Coast Indian association joined us on stage to bring some Bollywood!!
We also saw an outpouring of love for the talented youth in our community, especially during the School of Rock segment. A special thanks goes to Sarge from Triple M Studios for being a fantastic guest MC, guiding us through an epic musical journey from rock classics to the modern sounds of Mediocre Sunrise.
Our masterclasses were also a highlight, with lessons in the best soul sister grazing platters with Bec and friends, cooking with Char bar, and even salsa dancing, where Mike and Kellie wowed everyone with the Dance of Love. We also want to shout out the incredible breathwork sessions at the Self Seen Tent, where we raised essential funds for mental health services.
Together, with your generous donations and participation, we raised an incredible $4,500 for Self Seen, Mid North Coast Lifeline, and YP Space. With your gold coins, raffle entries, and support, we’ve helped provide much-needed resources for mental health services in our local area.
We cannot forget the wonderful sponsors, our event volunteers, and the local businesses who donated to our raffles and auctions. Each one of you contributed to making this day a huge success.
Finally, I want to personally dedicate this festival to my dear friend Shaun, whose memory guided me in making this event all about connection, kindness, and community support. Shaun’s spirit was with us every step of the way, reminding us how vital mental health awareness is.
With the EaTs Soul Savour Festival, we aimed to create an event that brought people together in joy, supported the local community, and raised awareness for causes close to our hearts. Thanks to you, we achieved that and so much more. Stay tuned for future events—because together, we’re making Port Macquarie a place of warmth, connection, and celebration!
